The Pilgrim’s Credential
After checking into The Poets Inn in Porto, we’ll find our way over to the cathedral to pick up our Pilgrim’s Credential. This will literally be our admission ticket for being recognized as a pilgrim and being allowed to stay in the albergues/hostels along The Way. We’ll have our passport stamped numerous times ever day, in churches, albergues, and other sites. Upon reaching Santiago, it will be the Credential that proves we walked the required distance to receive our Compostela or certificate of accomplishment.
